Locum Pediatrician – Oklahoma
Overview
A hospital in Oklahoma is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician to provide inpatient call coverage. This opportunity offers beeper call only with no scheduled clinic responsibilities, making it an excellent option for providers seeking flexible call coverage.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Pediatrics

- Assignment Length: Ongoing

- Call: Beeper call with a 30-minute response time
- Call Schedule: Approximately 1:3 rotation
Practice Setting
- Inpatient pediatric coverage
- Hospital-based practice
- Cerner and Athena EMR
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pediatric call coverage
- Respond to pediatric consultations and admissions
- Perform inpatient rounding as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and the hospital care team
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Fellowship training required
- Active state medical license or eligibility
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call
