We are seeking a Pediatrician for an outpatient pediatric clinic setting starting September 1, 2026, on an ongoing assignment. This role serves patients from newborn to 21 years of age in a team-based care model with strong clinical and administrative support. The practice operates in a fully outpatient environment with no hospital call and minimal after-hours responsibility managed primarily by advanced practice providers (APPs).

Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric care for patients ranging from newborn to 21 years of age.
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services in a clinic-based setting.
- Supervise and collaborate with a team of advanced practice providers (1 MD to 5 APPs).
- Support team-based care delivery and clinical decision-making.
- Manage minimal after-hours call responsibilities (APPs primarily take call rotation; approximately 1–2 calls per week at most).
- Ensure high-quality patient care in a fully outpatient environment.
- Utilize on-site laboratory services as part of patient care workflow.
- Participate in clinical documentation and care coordination using EPIC.
- Support continuity of care and adherence to outpatient pediatric protocols.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
- Active South Carolina medical license in hand or in process with the board.
- Board Eligible (must achieve certification within 5 years).
- Fellowship required (as stated in requisition).
- Experience in pediatric outpatient care preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system (recent experience required).
- Ability to work in a team-based care model with APP supervision responsibilities.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday outpatient clinic schedule
- Includes 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- No hospital call required
- After-hours call is minimal and primarily managed by APPs (approximately 1–2 calls per week at most)
