Pediatrician Opportunity in Bakersfield, CA
Join a well-established community health group seeking a full-time Pediatrician. Enjoy a flexible schedule with minimal call (phone call from home once per quarter).
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care while maintaining professional and ethical standards
- Collaborate on clinical policies, quality improvement, and patient care initiatives
- Support staff oversight, patient education, and workflow improvements
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, QA/QI standards, and regulatory requirements
- Utilize EHR systems (NextGen) and participate in a Patient-Centered Medical Home model
Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited program
- Active California medical license
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
- Community health experience and leadership interest preferred
