We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Orangeburg, SC beginning September 1st and continuing until a permanent provider is hired.
Position Highlights:
• 100% Outpatient Pediatrics
• Start Date: September 1
• Ongoing assignment
• Monday–Friday clinic schedule
• 1-hour unpaid lunch
• No hospital call
• Minimal after-hours clinic call (typically 1–2 calls per week)
• Patient population: Newborn through 21 years of age
• On-site laboratory services
• Team-based care model
• EPIC EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Work alongside 5 experienced Advanced Practice Providers
• Full clinical and administrative support staff
• APPs are highly trained, self-sufficient, and participate in call rotation
• Physician will provide supervision for APPs
Qualifications
• Active South Carolina medical license or currently in process
• Recent and/or proficient EPIC experience required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Comfortable supervising Advanced Practice Providers
