Position Overview
The selected physician will provide expert medical evaluation and consultation for infants, children, and adolescents with suspected child abuse and neglect across inpatient, outpatient, and multidisciplinary settings. The Child Abuse Pediatrician will play a critical role in advancing patient care, education, and advocacy while collaborating closely with medical, legal, and community partners.

Position Overview
The selected physician will provide expert medical evaluation and consultation for infants, children, and adolescents with suspected child abuse and neglect across inpatient, outpatient, and multidisciplinary settings. The Child Abuse Pediatrician will play a critical role in advancing patient care, education, and advocacy while collaborating closely with medical, legal, and community partners.
Clinical responsibilities may include:
- Medical evaluation of suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and medical child abuse
- Inpatient and outpatient consultations at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital
- Participation in multidisciplinary child protection teams and community response systems
- Expert medical documentation and medical-legal consultation, including court testimony as needed
- Call coverage consistent with program needs (shared among division faculty, if applicable)

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
