- Salary: $200K - $225K, competitive

🩺 Job Responsibilities
As a Pediatrician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive Pediatric Care:
- Provide care for children from infancy to adolescence, including well-child exams, vaccinations, and preventive care
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, and more
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to educate on proper nutrition, safety, and overall health
- Patient Management:
- Conduct thorough physical exams, order necessary diagnostic tests, and interpret results
- Prescribe medications and treatments, and provide follow-up care as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborative Care:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Communicate effectively with families to provide emotional support and guidance
- Community Impact:
- Foster relationships within the community, building trust with families and advocating for children’s health
🔑 Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Active Medical License in Louisiana or eligibility for licensure
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in pediatrics (preferred, but new graduates will be considered)
- Experience in both preventive care and treatment of pediatric illnesses
- Skills:
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Certifications:
- ACLS/BLS Certification (preferred)
