This children's hospital is a leading pediatric medical center specializing in comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. The facility features 189 beds and maintains a strong commitment to pediatric subspecialty services, providing advanced medical care with state-of-the-art technology and dedicated pediatric support teams.

Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics - Nephrology

Job Details:
• Provide specialized pediatric nephrology services with management and treatment of complex renal conditions
• Handle preferred conditions including Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, Fanconi Syndrome, Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome, and Hepatorenal Syndrome
• Experience with renal transplant management preferred
• Perform EEG reads at Reading Hospital - this is a requirement
• Conduct hemodialysis procedures (required) and peritoneal dialysis (preferred)
• Perform percutaneous renal biopsy and needle biopsy of the kidney (preferred)
• Commit to minimum of one week but ideally two weeks of availability per month
• Provide on-call coverage from Monday 7 AM to the following Monday 7 AM
• See minimum of 5 outpatients daily at clinic during on-call week
• Available for inpatient rounds and consultations
• Outpatient clinic hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Typical coverage: 70% inpatients and 30% outpatients
• Patient encounters vary for hospital, 7 outpatients per shift
• Board certification required with PALS certification
• Must be licensed in PA or hold IMLC
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
• Fellowship training required

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
