This medical group operates a busy pediatric clinic serving a high-demand community in the high desert region. The facility focuses on providing essential healthcare services to a socioeconomically challenged population, offering providers meaningful opportunities to make a significant impact in patient care and community health.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics
Job Details:
• Provide full-time pediatric care Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 9 hours
• Average of 25 patients per day with flexible lunch scheduling
• Outpatient clinic setting with no call requirements
• High no-show rate area with scheduling adjusted accordingly
• Serve a high-demand, socioeconomically challenged community
• Potential for locum-to-permanent conversion for mutual fit
• Must maintain active California medical license and DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency required
• BLS certification required
• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills preferred
• EKG interpretation skills preferred
• Minor suturing capabilities preferred
• No credentialing required - can start once access is established
• Start date March 17, 2026 with ongoing coverage needs
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
