Pediatrician (MD/DO)
Greater Sacramento Area, CA (Multiple Locations Available)
Compensation: $231,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 4-Day (10-Hour) Schedule
We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician to join a respected, mission-driven community health organization serving diverse and underserved populations throughout the Greater Sacramento region. This is an outpatient-only opportunity within a collaborative, team-based setting focused on access, prevention, and high-quality pediatric care.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of post-residency experience required
No new graduates
Community health or FQHC experience preferred
Position Overview
The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care services for children and adolescents from birth through age 19. The role requires comfort managing preventive care, acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and developmental and behavioral concerns in a structured, productivity-focused outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide well-child exams, immunizations, and preventive services
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Conduct thorough histories and physical examinations
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and manage age-appropriate therapies
Address developmental and behavioral health concerns
Coordinate referrals to pediatric subspecialists
Provide culturally competent education to patients and families
Maintain productivity standards while ensuring quality care
Respond promptly to labs, consults, and patient messages
Complete timely, accurate documentation and billing in the EHR
Participate in quality initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or FMG with ECFMG certification)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active, unrestricted California medical license
Experience with preventive care, chronic disease management, and developmental screening
Familiarity with HRSA core measures, HEDIS, and PCMH standards preferred
Bilingual in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $231,000 – $300,000 based on experience
