A medical center in western Oregon has an opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts, including 6-8 hours of onsite rounding
- Coverage of Level II Nursery and ED
- Patient Volume: 0-8 per day
- Patient Population: Ages 0-21
- Required Procedures: Arterial blood sampling, biopsies, bladder taps, endotracheal intubations, I&D of superficial abscesses, simple laceration repairs, lumbar punctures, peripheral arterial punctures, reduction of simple closed extremity fractures, reduction of uncomplicated joint dislocations, frenotomies/frenulectomies, and vent management
- Support Staff: Techs, nurses, OB/GYNs, and dedicated OB OR and anesthesia staff
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
