Job Title: Pediatrician
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-Time options may be considered)
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join a well-established healthcare practice in Jacksonville, Florida. The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care services to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients from birth through adolescence
Conduct routine wellness exams, physicals, and developmental screenings
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic pediatric conditions
Administer and manage immunizations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Monitor growth and development milestones and provide anticipatory guidance to families
Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals as needed
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical protocols, and quality standards
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active (or eligible) Florida Medical License
DEA certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
Prior outpatient pediatric experience
Experience working with diverse patient populations
Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred but not required)
