This full-time Pediatrics position blends outpatient continuity with light inpatient exposure in a close-knit community setting.
Practice Overview
- You'll join a small, established pediatric team alongside an experienced Med-Peds physician, with plans to build a two-provider pediatric group
- Outpatient-focused practice with limited inpatient care and continuity across settings
- Average clinic volume of approximately 15 patients per day with extended visit times for complex cases
- Access to on-site specialties, comprehensive diagnostics, and strong referral relationships with regional tertiary centers
Schedule
- 4.5-day workweek with built-in administrative time
- 36 patient-facing hours plus dedicated admin hours each week
- Call averages one week per month, shared across pediatric and hospitalist coverage
- Inpatient rounding handled efficiently before clinic or over lunch
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range of $260,000-$300,000 based on experience
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance averaging $40,000
- Eligibility for up to $150,000 in student loan repayment through a state rural incentive program
- 35 days of PTO, 5 CME days with $5,000 allowance, full family health coverage, and employer retirement match
Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics
- Comfortable managing routine pediatric inpatient care and newborn rounding
- Interest in long-term continuity of care and community-based practice
- Circumcisions welcomed but not required
