- Desirable Practice Setting: 100% inpatient pediatrics in a regional hospital serving as the medical hub for Southwest Alaska, supporting care across 58 rural communities.
- Ideal Work Environment: Join a collaborative pediatric team working alongside experienced RNs, respiratory therapists, ER staff, and village health aides in a highly integrated care model.
- Scope of Practice: This role goes beyond traditional hospitalist work, including ER coverage, nursery support, and real-time consultation with village health aides, offering variety and high-impact clinical decision-making.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: Minimum starting pay of $120.60/hour, DOE, with compensation determined using a structured formula based on experience.
- Sign-On & Retention Bonuses:
- $35,000 sign-on bonus (2-year agreement)
- $75,000 sign-on bonus (3-year agreement)
- Retention bonuses up to 9.1% annually based on contract length
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, short- and long-term disability, retirement plan, and malpractice coverage.
- Relocation & Professional Development: Relocation assistance: $15,000 (individual) / $20,000 (family)
- CME: 10 paid days + $10,000 annually

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for Alaska medical licensure
- Comfortable with broad inpatient pediatrics and variable acuity
