Facility:
This facility is a Critical Access Hospital featuring a Labor and Delivery/Pediatrics Unit with a Level II nursery. The facility collaborates with another local healthcare provider for comprehensive pediatric care, creating an excellent team-oriented environment with strong support systems in place.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics
Job Details:
• 24-hour call coverage needed for 7 days per month • Attend vaginal deliveries when requested • Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections • Admit and discharge newborns • Provide care for admitted pediatric patients • Perform circumcisions and other required procedures • Conduct newborn resuscitation/intubations/UVC and lumbar punctures • Work with EMR system: Meditech • Strong support staff including nursing team, Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, and respiratory therapists • Access to local pediatricians for consultation • NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles) with consulting physicians available • Average of 2-3 admissions per day • Board Certification/Board Eligibility highly preferred • Active North Dakota license or IMLC required • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required • Clean malpractice history required • Emergency privileges can be granted for quick start
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
