Pediatrician Opportunity – Outpatient-Focused Practice

A community-based medical center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join a supportive and collaborative care team. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values patient-centered care, work–life balance, and meaningful community impact.

Physicians enjoy a predominantly outpatient practice with light inpatient responsibilities limited to call coverage, all within a welcoming hospital-based clinic environment.

Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care primarily in the outpatient setting

• Limited inpatient responsibilities when on call

• Practice evidence-based medicine in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team

• Hospital-based clinic offering convenience and strong clinical support

Schedule & Call

• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Call: Approximately 10 days per month

• Outpatient-only on non-call days

• Clinic conveniently located within the hospital

Qualifications

Education

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Licensure & Certifications

• Active, unrestricted West Virginia medical license

• Current DEA (Federal and WV)

• NRP and PALS required

• Fully credentialed per organizational bylaws

Experience

• Experience in a group practice or hospital setting preferred
