Job description
A community-based medical center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join a supportive and collaborative care team. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values patient-centered care, work–life balance, and meaningful community impact.
Physicians enjoy a predominantly outpatient practice with light inpatient responsibilities limited to call coverage, all within a welcoming hospital-based clinic environment.
Position Overview

Provide comprehensive pediatric care primarily in the outpatient setting

Limited inpatient responsibilities when on call

Practice evidence-based medicine in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team

Hospital-based clinic offering convenience and strong clinical support
Schedule & Call

Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Call: Approximately 10 days per month

Outpatient-only on non-call days

Clinic conveniently located within the hospital

Qualifications
Education
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Licensure & Certifications

Active, unrestricted West Virginia medical license
-
Current DEA (Federal and WV)
-
NRP and PALS required
-
Fully credentialed per organizational bylaws
Experience
-
Experience in a group practice or hospital setting preferred
