Facility:
This hospital is part of a respected healthcare network serving the Fort Morgan community. The facility features a Level 1 Nursery and provides comprehensive pediatric services with approximately 250 deliveries per year and 40-50 pediatric admissions annually.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics
Job Details:
• 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) starting January 1-6 with ongoing dates to be determined
• Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics with active Colorado license or Active IMLC
• Attend all C-sections in OR gear and select deliveries
• Provide newborn care, inpatient pediatric services, and neonatal resuscitation
• Perform circumcisions and treat respiratory and infectious diseases in young patients
• Work in Level 1 Nursery setting (no pediatric ICU)
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC (training required before first day)
• Must complete EMR modules and virtual training at least one week prior to first day
• Required to participate in Colorado Medicaid (80% of patients are CO Medicaid patients)
• Active BLS highly preferred (required for credentialing)
• Active DEA highly preferred (required for credentialing)
• Preferred accommodations at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott (corporate rate available)
• Average callback hours: 1.2 hours per shift
• Credentialing timeframe: ASAP with emergency/temporary options possible
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
