Overview:
Plans to build a state-of the-art, 144-bed behavioral health facility that will open in the fall of 2025.
Hospital privileges at Medical Center, a 974-academic medical center
Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
Academic appointment with the Department of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry at East Carolina University s Brody School of Medicine
7 on 7 off schedule- 7am-7pm
Providers will be expected to participate in teaching of medical students and/or residents and if desired conduct research
Physician will have oversight to up to 2 residents on the unit with a capacity maximum of 24 beds
Referral network includes 29 county service area with a population of 1.4 million people
Opportunities exist for student loan repayment from the North Carolina Medical Society and The North Carolina Office of Rural Health
