Job description
Make a Difference Where it Matters Most.
- Provide inpatient pediatric infectious disease consultations and build a thriving outpatient clinic practice, all within Idaho’s only Children’s Hospital
- Manage a full spectrum of pediatric ID diagnoses including TB, HIV, congenital infections, viral hepatitis, and infections in solid organ transplant, oncology, and bone marrow transplant patients
- Participate in the Children’s Infections and Immune Deficiency Clinic, offering long-term care for children with HIV/AIDS and primary immunodeficiency disorders, along with acute/chronic ID management and post-hospital follow-up
- Work in a semi-academic environment with occasional teaching of medical students and residents, with clinical faculty appointments available through affiliated medical schools
- Optional involvement in our robust infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship programs
- This role offers significant potential to shape your practice and pursue interests within a supportive, evolving program
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho
