A Community Health Center in Los Angeles is actively seeking a Pediatrician to join one of their FQHCs!
About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:30am to 8:30pm (open to 3/12s, 4/10s, or 5/8s, as well as part timers)
• Patient Population: Pediatrics (0-18 year olds)

Responsibilities:

The Pediatrician will:

• Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history, and requests and/or performs diagnostic tests and examinations deemed necessary to obtain all possible information related to each case.
• Provides definitive management and full spectrum pediatric practice in all medical categories for cases.
• Provides pediatric care from newborn to adulthood and is familiar with growth, development, disease states and the unique status of pediatric patient.
• Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
• Examine sick children to determine their condition and ask intuitive questions to gather information about symptoms.

Qualifications:

• A valid license to practice medicine in the State of California, with no pending or previous disciplinary action from any state licensing entity.
• Board certification or eligibility in primary care specialty.
• Current DEA license and BCLS certificate.
• Competency in evaluating and treating general pediatric and adult ambulatory care.
• Working knowledge of state-of-the-art medical scientific and treatment methods in area of specialty

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of MD/DO experience
