A private organization in Florida is currently seeking a licensed Pediatrician to join their growing team. In this role, the Pediatrician will be responsible for providing medical care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults at facilities in accordance with a prescribed schedule.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm
  • Call Schedule: None
  • Setting: Floating between two clinics
  • Patient Volume: 10 per day

Responsibilities:

The Pediatrician will:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic examinations/data to determine nature and extent of pediatric patient's medical condition/injury
  • Collect, record, and maintain details of the patient's information such as clinical history, reports, and test outcomes
  • Administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other particularized medical care to treat or preclude illnesses, disorders, or injuries in infants and teens
  • Counsel and guide patients and their parents or guardians regarding diet, essential activities for treating complications, hygiene, and disease preclusion
  • Serve as a resource person and provides advice and consultation to allied programs
  • Review concurrently and/or retrospectively referrals for specialized pediatric care initiated by other medical practitioners for appropriateness and review

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor's degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy's (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current license to practice medicine in the State of Florida
  • Board certification in Pediatrics
  • 5+ years of experience in Outpatient and Inpatient Care of Pediatric patients
