Our partner, a county hospital and health system, and 25-bed, acute care general medical-surgical hospital located in beautiful south Georgia, is seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for an entrepreneurial clinic start-up opportunity with full support.

Our medical complex spans over 10 acres and 25,000 square feet, providing a comprehensive range of healthcare services. Position Overview:

As a Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional healthcare services to our pediatric patients. You will have the opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, ensuring the well-being and health of our youngest community members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and diagnosis and treatment of various pediatric illnesses.
  • Conduct physical examinations, evaluate medical histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical decision-making.
  • Adhere to established medical guidelines, protocols, and quality standards to ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of a residency program in Pediatrics.
  • Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Pediatrics.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of pediatric healthcare.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and quality care delivery.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Pediatric Intensivist experience
