**Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Sioux City, Iowa** Located on Tri-State border of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent position - Employed - Established practice - Competitive compensation and benefits package. Including: signing bonus, relocation, 401K match, CME allowance, and time off - Pediatric Subspecialty Support: Pediatric Radiology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Infectious Disease, Neonatology. - Other support: General Surgery, Orthopedics and many other subspecialties available for consultation - 12-bed pediatric inpatient unit with brand-new remodel - Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination - Average daily census of 5-7 in summer and 7-10 in winter (combination of newborn nursery and inpatient) - Round on unassigned newborns in newborn nursery (no NICU or Level 2 nursery responsibilities), circumcisions, ED and direct admissions of pediatric age patients, ED consultation when requested - No delivery attendance required.
