Pediatric Surgeon with Leadership aspirations- Join one of the largest non-profit Health Systems in the state. The need is due to the Construction that is underway of the new Golisano Children's Hospital located in SW Florida along the Gulf Coast of Mexico. Current patient volume is divided by three providers. Golisano Children’s Hospital is the only comprehensive children’s facility between Tampa Bay and Miami. It has a busy Oncology program that participates in COG. It is also home to the only Level III nursery in the region. Golisano Children’s Hospital serves a large 5-county area, but the group only operates at one hospital, the main campus.
As the department director your time will be split clinically and administratively and you will receive a very competitive salary, extensive benefits, sign on bonus and paid relocation. BC in Pediatric Surgery is required. Florida has always been known as the Sunshine state but did you know there is no state income tax in Florida? Cost of living is also very affordable and Ft. Myers also provides excellent Shopping, dining and water front living. This location has been in Money magazine year after year and is a great place to raise a family. Winter is approaching but you will not need to shovel any snow here! Florida takes pride in our winters where temperatures average 70 degrees and plenty of sunshine.
