This well-established hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Springfield community and surrounding region. The facility supports locum tenens providers with pediatric surgery call coverage and has an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days.Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - PediatricJob Details:
- Provide pediatric surgery call coverage on a locum tenens basis for an ongoing engagement
- Must be licensed in Missouri or hold an IMLC license
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- General surgery skills required for both adult and pediatric patients
- Trauma surgery experience required
- Laparoscopic surgery required, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair required
- Pediatric-specific procedures required, including esophageal, intestinal, and biliary atresias
- Abdominal wall defect management required, including gastroschisis
- Umbilical defect procedures required, including hernia repair and omphalocele
- Diaphragmatic hernia repair required
- Imperforate anus repair required
- PDA ligation required
