Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist to join a collaborative and established pediatric radiology team within a full-service children’s hospital environment.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Overnight coverage supported by vRAD from 8 PM – 8 AM
  • High-volume pediatric imaging practice across various modalities

  • In-person weekday model with remote weekend reading flexibility when on call
  • Additional compensation available for extra call coverage
  • Established pediatric referral network serving South Texas
  • Base salary range of 510K–580K+ with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, quality incentive, and additional productivity potential
  • No state income tax
  • Weekend call volumes supported by a collaborative team structure

The radiology team works closely with pediatric specialists across the hospital system within a collaborative, high-volume children’s hospital environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret a broad range of pediatric diagnostic imaging studies
• Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in weekend and call rotation coverage
• Provide timely and high-quality imaging interpretations
• Support a collaborative and patient-centered pediatric care environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology required
• Eligible for or able to obtain Texas medical licensure

Working Hours

Full-time position with weekday onsite coverage and shared call responsibilities.
