The department of pediatrics at the Lehigh Valley Childrens Hospital is seeking board certified / board eligible pediatric pulmonologist to join the group. Our Pediatric Pulmonology Section consists of three physicians and one nurse practitioner. The section also includes on site pulmonary function laboratory, active Cystic Fibrosis center, an accredited Pediatric Sleep Disorders Center and flexible bronchoscopy program. This is an outstanding opportunity for a new graduate or experienced pediatric pulmonologist to work with a friendly and collegial group at a growing organization.
The Childrens Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital is the only childrens hospital in the region and has a 37-bed inpatient pediatric unit, 8-bed Level II PICU, 40-bed Level III NICU, Childrens Specialty Center, Level II pediatric trauma center and 12-bed pediatric ER. Located in the heart of a prosperous, growing region of eastern Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley is an area of outstanding beauty, a regional center for culture, education, recreation and public service and the base for many leading companies. We are only 1 hour north of Philadelphia and 1.5 hours west of New York City.
Our successful candidate must have superior clinical and interpersonal skills and must possess a strong desire to participate in program development, research and medical education. Must be BC or BE in Pediatric Pulmonology through the American Academy of Pediatrics, Sleep Medicine certification is optional.
