We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens assignment providing inpatient NICU coverage in Texas.
Opportunity Details
- December 2026 coverage
- Monday-Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No call required
- Approximately 48 total hours needed
- Inpatient setting
- Cerner EMR
Responsibilities
- Perform Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screenings
- Provide ophthalmology coverage for NICU patients
- Inpatient rounding
- Collaborate with nursing and neonatal care teams
- Care for newborn patient population
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training preferred
- Active Texas license required
- Pediatric Ophthalmology experience required
- ROP screening experience preferred
