• Seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist to provide specialized eye care to pediatric patients.
• Join an established ophthalmology practice serving communities throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
• Provide comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus services in a collaborative clinical environment.
• Opportunity to participate in ROP screening and/or treatment based on professional interest.
• The practice currently provides coverage to two area NICUs. 🏥
• Position is structured as a partner-track physician opportunity.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology consultations and treatment.
• Diagnose and manage strabismus and related ocular conditions.
• Perform appropriate ophthalmic examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient care with other ophthalmologists, optometrists, pediatric specialists, and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in ROP screening and/or treatment if interested.
• Provide appropriate follow-up care and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients and their caregivers. ❤️
Qualifications
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
• Ability to obtain a Virginia medical license.
• Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong clinical and communication abilities.
• Interest or experience in ROP screening/treatment is an opportunity but not stated as mandatory.
Working Hours
• Outpatient clinical practice setting.
