Position Overview A premier pediatric healthcare system in Orlando is seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join a growing multidisciplinary team. This role involves comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, medical education, and clinical research within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Provide care for acute kidney injury, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. Manage acute and chronic dialysis (CKRT, PD, HD), plasmapheresis, and kidney transplantation.

  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with pediatric rheumatologists, urologists, and adult transplant programs.

  • Specialized Clinics: Participate in specialized programs for Lupus/Vasculitis, Williams syndrome, and kidney stones, as well as nephrology-driven telemedicine initiatives.

  • Education: Mentor and train pediatric residents, medical students, and PA students.

  • Research: Opportunities to engage in clinical research and national collaborations (NAKI and NAPRTCS).

Team & Schedule

  • Structure: Join a team of two faculty members and one advanced practitioner.

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, first shift.

  • Environment: Supported by a robust infrastructure for ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and in-house laboratory assays.

Qualifications

  • Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) with Fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology.

  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Pediatric Nephrology.

  • Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
