Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Coverage (24-Hour Shifts: 12 Hours In-House + 12 Hours Beeper Call)
Coverage Period: January 1, 2027 – June 30, 2027
Schedule & Call:
- Shift Structure: 24-hour shifts consisting of:
- 12 Hours In-House Coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12 Hours Overnight Beeper Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (15-minute response time required)
- Weekends Included
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Fellowship: Preferred
- Licensure: Active Florida State Medical License
- Certifications Required: Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Other Requirements: Resident/Teaching supervision required
- Setting: Inpatient (Level 3 PEDs Facility / 8-Bed Unit)
Clinical Responsibilities & Volume:
- Scope of Work: Inpatient pediatric coverage only (No outpatient responsibilities)
- Patient Volume: 4–5 patients per shift
- Admissions & Rounding: Inpatient admissions and rounding required
- EMR: Cerner
- Facility Setup: 8-Bed Pediatric Unit (Level 3 PEDs Facility)
- Travel & Lodging: Provided
