Schedule: 24-Hour Call Coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Coverage Need: 15–20 Days per Month
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Position Overview:
An acute care hospital in Owatonna, Minnesota, is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment beginning January 11, 2027. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for newborns and pediatric patients and be comfortable providing newborn assessments, pediatric evaluations, and on-call coverage for urgent clinical needs.
- Rounding on an average of 1–5 newborns per day.
- Caring for approximately 0–2 pediatric patients per day.
Provider Requirements:
- Pediatric Hospitalist experience preferred.
- Family Medicine physicians with strong pediatric experience may be considered.
- Active Minnesota medical license required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- Local Minnesota providers preferred.
- Travel, Lodging and Malpractice Coverage provided
