Location: Williston, North Dakota

Coverage Need: 1.0 FTE

Compensation:
24 hour call (to include 4 hours gratis)
Average Callback 4-6 per day
Tier 1
Hourly / Call Back: $195/hr
24 Hour Call: $1870 per 24 hours
Night Call: $780/shift
Tier 2
Hourly / Call Back: $220/hr
24 Hour Call: $2100 per 24 hours
Night Call: $860/shift
Schedule
24-Hour Coverage
Approximately 10-15 Shifts Per Month
Typical Schedule: Approximately 6-10 Days Per Month
Shift Handoff Typically Occurs at 4:00 AM or 4:00 PM
Most Coverage Shifts Start and End at 7:00 AM

Newborn and Pediatric Patients
Approximately 2-4 Neonates Per Day
Approximately 1-2 Inpatient Pediatric Patients Per Day
Patient Volume May Increase During RSV and Cold/Flu Season
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist Coverage
Provide Coverage for All Newborn Births
Evaluate and Admit Pediatric Patients From the Emergency Department
Provide Rounding and Ongoing Care for Admitted Pediatric Patients
Manage Pediatric Inpatients Throughout the Coverage Period
Requirements
Board Certified in Pediatrics - Highly Preferred
Board Eligible in Pediatrics - Required
Active North Dakota Medical License - Highly Preferred
Active IMLC LOQ May Be Accepted
PALS and BLS or NRP - Required
DEA - Required
Availability for Requested Coverage Dates Must Be Provided at Time of Name Clearance
Clean Malpractice History - Highly Preferred
Dismissed Malpractice Cases May Be Considered
Credentialing
Expedited Credentialing May Be Available With Prompt Completion and Return of Required Documentation
Previous Work History Within the Health System Must Be Disclosed
