Coverage: Call Only
Call Type: Beeper Call
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Coverage: 1 weekend per month through July
EMR: MediTech
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Trauma Level: III
Pediatric Level: I
Call Details:
- 30-minute response time
- Approximately 2–3 phone consults per call
- 1–2 patients seen per call
- 1–2 admissions per call
- Call covers both new and established patients
- Average 4–8 patients per shift
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Texas license or IMLC
- BLS and PALS required
- Pediatric Hospitalist experience
Clinical Details:
- Inpatient pediatric coverage
- Pediatric and newborn care
- Admissions required
- 3 pediatric beds and 14 nursery beds
- No APP supervision required
