High-demand Pediatric Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in Florence, Oregon, offering a focused inpatient pediatric and newborn coverage role with clinical autonomy and tele-neonatology support available. This travel assignment provides a manageable average daily census and an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a community setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Attend deliveries and provide newborn care following delivery.
• Manage neonatal and pediatric admissions.
• Provide neonatal resuscitation.
• Work independently with tele-neonatology support available.
Qualifications
• Oregon medical license required; willing to license may be considered based on ETA.
• NRP required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Recent clinical activity in the requested scope within the required 24-month period.
Working Hours
• 14–21 days of coverage per month.
• Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call.
• Day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Current approval through January 14, 2027.
• Average daily census: 1 patient.
• Approximately 6–7 births per month.
• 8 hours of orientation.
