Locums – Pediatrics Hospitalist | Winchester, Virginia
Availability / Coverage
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Coverage Type: Per Diem
- Schedule: 24-hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
- Block scheduling: Available
- Dates needed:
- Nov 21-22
- Nov 24-29
- Dec 11-13
- Dec 18-20
- Dec 22-27
- Dec 29-31
- Board Certified in Pediatrics — REQUIRED
- Board Eligible candidates are NOT accepted
- Active Virginia Medical License — REQUIRED
- At least 6 months of clinical experience within the specialty — REQUIRED
- Must have been clinically active within the past 1 year — REQUIRED
- Experienced Pediatric Hospitalist
- Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor
- Provide coverage in the newborn nursery
- Approximately 2,400 annual deliveries
- Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5
- Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15
- Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists available onsite and through telehealth
- NICU services are also provided onsite
- Community hospital setting
