Opportunity Highlights:

• BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist position
• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
• 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour onsite shifts
• EPIC EMR
• Care for pediatric inpatients, newborns, nursery patients, and Emergency Department consults
• Level I & II Nursery with approximately 1,300 births annually
• 17-bed Baby-Friendly Birthing Center with dedicated Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum suites
• Low average pediatric inpatient census with seasonal variation
• Collaborative nursing staff cross-trained in labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn care

Required Skills:

• NRP and PALS certification
• Recent experience with neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lumbar puncture, emergency needle thoracentesis, umbilical lines, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and newborn procedures (circumcision training available onsite)
