Job description
WashU Medicine, nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, research & medical education, is expanding specialized pediatric care across southwest Missouri. This includes the new St. Louis Children's at CoxHealth pediatric hospital, opened in March 2026, & the Specialty Care Center, opening in summer 2027. The 133,000 sq ft outpatient facility will offer pediatric specialty clinics, ambulatory surgery, imaging, lab & infusion.

Position Highlights:
• Outpatient-focused pediatric gastroenterology with procedures, supported by WashU's Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology
• 4 clinic days/week, minimal inpatient consults (avg 6/week, most by phone)
• No more than 12 weeks of call per year with manageable volumes
• 33-bed Level III NICU, PICU & pediatrics floor - covered by WashU pediatric specialists
• WashU case conferences, lectures, & colleagues ready to assist on complex cases; collaborative opportunities in research & teaching available
• Highly competitive compensation commensurate with experience
