Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for a locum opportunity in Massachusetts. This outpatient-only position offers a predictable weekday schedule, no call, and the support of a dedicated diabetes education team.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: September 2026
- Initial 3-month assignment
- Extension potential available
- Full-time preferred
- Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- No call
Practice Setting
- Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic
- Epic EMR
- Opportunity to provide coverage at satellite clinic locations
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluation and management (E&M) visits only
- Diagnose and manage pediatric endocrine disorders
- No procedures required
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Diabetes education provided by Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs)
Patient Population
- Pediatric patients
- Approximately 12–15 patients per day
Support Staff
- Certified Diabetes Educators
- Established outpatient clinical support team
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Active Massachusetts license preferred
- Massachusetts licensing available for qualified candidates
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
