We are seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist for a locum tenens position in Anchorage, AK. This is a locum tenens opportunity with ongoing potential. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital
- Trauma Level II (Adult, Peds II, III, IV)
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Two weeks per month on-site: clinic hours with night call coverage on weekdays and 24-hour call coverage on weekends
Two weeks per month remote: virtual hospital call coverage (24 hours/day, not onsite)
See approximately 15 patients per shift
Provide long-term continuity of care across in-person and virtual coverage models
Work alongside dedicated support staff
Qualifications
Active Alaska medical license required (temporary license acceptable while full licensure is in process)
Fellowship training preferred
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Working Hours
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus on-call
On-site weeks: weekday night call and 24-hour weekend call included
Remote weeks: 24-hour/day virtual hospital call coverage
Support staff available
