Facility:
This well-established medical center features a dedicated Children's Medical Center with a 34-bed pediatric floor and an average daily census of 24. The facility includes a 12-bed PICU covered by affiliated Pediatric Intensivists, as well as a NICU and newborn nursery managed by an affiliated neonatology team. The facility also offers full pediatric subspecialty support, a dedicated Pediatric ED, and an academic affiliation with opportunities to teach pediatric residents and medical students.Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine - PediatricJob Details:
- Seeking a 6th Pediatric Hospitalist to join a well-established team in Summerlin, NV (Las Vegas suburb)
- Full-time, permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area
- Schedule includes rounding in the hospital with call from home
- Current or recent in-patient hospital experience is required
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required
- Must be able to provide the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting at interview
- Open to experienced providers and recent graduate candidates who are truly Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and actively working toward Board Certification
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) in Pediatric Emergency Medicine required
- Active Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain required
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
- Visa candidates and Locums candidates will not be accepted
- Candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to re-obtain it will not be accepted
