This facility is a prominent children's hospital featuring a bustling pediatric emergency department with approximately 55,000 annual visits. The hospital offers robust subspecialty support including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalist teams, making it an excellent environment for collaborative patient care and professional growth.
Opportunity: Board Certified/Board Eligible - Pediatric Emergency Medicine
This is an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join a dynamic and supportive team in a high-volume pediatric emergency department with a wide variety of patient acuity, excellent teaching opportunities, and comprehensive institutional support.
Job Details:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting
- Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams to manage complex cases
- Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence
- Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of residents from six programs
- Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
- Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation
- Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired
- Join a physician-led team with excellent institutional support
- Experience a rich mix of pathology and patient acuity in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine required
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain required
- Clean malpractice and medical license history highly preferred
