Clinical Information:

  • 46,000 plus annual visits
  • 45 hours per day Physician coverage, 52 hours per day APP coverage
  • 40 Private ED rooms
  • Region’s first sensory-friendly Pediatric ED
  • The facility offers outstanding pediatric services in many specialty areas including pediatric heart surgery, pulmonology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, newborn and pediatric intensive care, oncology and emergency services
  • The facility was recently expanded to add a seven-story patient tower with 96 private rooms and a 94-bed, Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Required:

  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
  • Current Flu Vaccine
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in one of the following:
    • American Board of Emergency Medicine
    • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
  • Must be BC/BE Pediatric Fellowship Trained Emergency Medicine Physicians or BC/BE Residency Trained Pediatricians with experience in high volume ED
  • Active TX License
