A rapidly expanding children's hospital seeks a Director of Fetal Cardiology to lead the development of a regional, complex fetal care center within a highly collaborative team of MFM specialists, neonatologists, pediatric cardiac surgeons, and geneticists. Clinical responsibilities include advanced fetal and congenital echocardiography, management of complex fetal and neonatal cardiac conditions, multidisciplinary care conferences, newborn inpatient consultation, and perioperative support within a growing congenital heart surgery program. Leadership responsibilities span program vision, strategic development, care pathway design, quality improvement, and regional outreach, with opportunities for research and academic involvement. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology; advanced training in fetal cardiology and/or congenital echocardiography, prior leadership experience, and exposure to a high-volume congenital heart surgical center are strongly preferred.
The same organization seeks a Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to lead and grow a state-of-the-art interventional program. The successful candidate will provide direct clinical care across the cath lab, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics while overseeing program safety, quality, and evidence-based standards. Leadership responsibilities include adoption of new devices and techniques, clinical pathway development, quality improvement, cath lab operations management, and representation in hospital committees and community partnerships — all in close collaboration with cardiac surgery, the ICU, and the broader cardiology team. Candidates must be board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and fellowship-trained in pediatric interventional cardiology, with a minimum of three years of experience and strong leadership skills.
Both positions are based at a well-resourced children's hospital offering the subspecialty depth and institutional support of a major academic center — including a Level IV NICU, PICU, and a congenital heart surgical program expanding to all acuity and STAT categories. Compensation is competitive for both roles and includes base salary, CME allowance, paid malpractice, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and additional compensation for call and administrative responsibilities. The hospital is located in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, offering 300 days of sunshine, stunning mountain scenery, and world-class skiing, hiking, and outdoor recreation within 90 minutes.
