A Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic Pathologist for locum coverage starting Aug/Sept through year-end.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: None currently (may be added later)
- Volume: High-volume practice with ~150–200 slides/day (20–30 cases)
- Case Mix: General Anatomic Pathology; optional participation in cytopathology
- Preferred Experience: Academic or cancer center background; cytopathology experience preferred but not required
- Setting: Work across UofL facilities as needed
Additional Details:
- FTE: 1.0 (part-time availability of 1–2 weeks/month considered)
- Licensure: Open to IMLC candidates
- EMR: Cerner
- Support: Established clinical and support staff
- Procedures: Autopsies optional (primarily for long-term providers); frozen sections not required initially
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology
- Flu vaccination
