Pathologist Locum Opportunity – Cambridge, MA

We are seeking two Board Certified Anatomic Pathologists for a full-time locum opportunity in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with coverage across two hospital locations.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Anatomic Pathology

• Location: Cambridge/Everett, MA

• Start Date: December 28, 2026

• End Date: April 2, 2027

• Contract Length: Approximately 3 months, with a potential commitment of 3–6 months

• Openings: 2 Pathologists

• Setting: Hospital-based, onsite only

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Full-time coverage

• Call may be required

• No remote coverage

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Pathology

• Coverage across two hospital locations

• Approximately 30 cases per day minimum

• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide Anatomic Pathology services

• Manage a minimum workload of approximately 30 cases daily

• Collaborate with hospital-based clinical teams

• Maintain accurate pathology documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology required

• Combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) Board Certification preferred

• Active Massachusetts medical license required

• Ability to provide full-time onsite coverage

• Comfortable managing approximately 30 cases per day

• Epic experience preferred

Ideal Candidate

A Board Certified Anatomic Pathologist with an active Massachusetts license who can provide full-time onsite coverage beginning December 28, 2026. Physicians with combined AP/CP certification are especially encouraged to apply.
