Coverage Dates: January 1, 2027 – April 1, 2027 (Ongoing vacancy coverage)
EMR System: Epic
Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (Level 2 Trauma Center)
Schedule & call details:
- Shift Structure: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Beeper Call Coverage
- Call Type: Beeper call for unassigned patients
- Call Response Time: 20-minute response time required
Clinical scope & required procedures:
- Anatomic Pathology: Surgical Pathology, Frozen Sections, Cytology (GYN & Non-GYN), and Performance of FNAs
- On-Site Evaluations: EBUS, CT-guided, and Ultrasound-guided biopsy evaluations
- Clinical Pathology Oversight: Laboratory coverage including Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood Bank
- Support Staff: Full access to departmental support staff
Candidate requirements & licensing:
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (Fellowship Preferred)
- Licensing Requirements: Open to all candidates — No state license required to bid
