DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and oversight of neuropathological services in the Division of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine.
- Work with faculty and Division Chief to support increased availability of clinical diagnostics for neurological disorders, especially molecularly based.
- Lead a research team and program to study the molecular basis of pediatric brain tumors in the Brain Tumor Institute.
- Collaborate with investigators and leaders of the Brain Tumor Institute to improve diagnostics and treatment of children with brain cancer.
- Teach and mentor trainees (enthusiasm for teaching required).
