Responsibilities
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our Department of Pathology at St. Joseph's Hospital on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pathologist looking for a flexible schedule while working in a collaborative hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose surgical pathology and cytology specimens.
- Limited grossing
- 20-25 cases per day
- Interpret clinical laboratory findings and provide pathology consultations.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care.
- Ensure accurate, timely pathology reports.
- Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
- Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in New York.
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
