Job description
We are seeking a Pathologist for a locum tenens position in Charleston, West Virginia. This is an Acute Care Hospital role with weekday day shifts and no call. Please see below for more information.
- Acute Care Hospital
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm day shift, no call
- Approximately 140 cases per day of all types (no autopsy)
- Frozen specimens and a robust FNA (IR) schedule
- Average patient age ~43
- 3 month contract (13 weeks), will extend if a good fit
- Start ASAP
Job Responsibilities
- Perform frozen specimen evaluations
- Support a robust FNA (IR) schedule
- Cover weekday day shifts (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
Qualifications
- Active West Virginia license required
- Experience with frozen specimens and FNA
- No autopsy required
