Job description
Looking for a AP/CP board-certified pathologist trained in hematopathology who will be expected to participate in the bone marrow / lymph node, fluid coagulation, and flow cytometry diagnostic services.
Work Details:
• Supports community labs
• Support staff: there are lab techs processing the specimens, there is an Anatomic Pathology Technologist on sight as well as a Pathologist Assistant
• Patient population/age: 18+ will include tonsillectomy so specimens will be from all ages
Facility details:
• EMR: EPIC
• FNA procedures for adequacies, Frozen Section services also required
• 13,000 – 15,000 cases annually, typically 2 pathologists on service -at least 1 on site, and another may read remotely – the locum will need to be on site
Requirements:
• Board Certification: AP/CP Boarded (Anatomic Pathology / Clinical Pathology) - NO B/E
• State license required: yes
• DEA – No DEA required
